Memorial Salad Day
Another cloudy Memorial Day in the Rogue Valley...a perfect time to pick lettuce and spinach for lunch.
Mr. A pulls grill duty when Chris isn't here!
Dipped in a viniagrette dressing and skewered, grilled gently to perfection on the mini Weber.
Foodie Delight! A salad of our lettuce, with local tomatoes (from Jim's Hot House in Grants Pass), egg, brown rice, sauted spinach, portabello mushrooms and red onions, topped with shrimp
Mr. A says ummmm! Bon Apetite say it in your Julia Child voice).
A Great Mom's Day for me
2010 Mom's Day came a couple of weeks later this year when Chris & Susan came up for Memorial Weekend. They brought all our stuff that we rudely left behind in Chico when the U-Haul truck suddenly became shorter than we thought! And they gifted me with a wonderful silver necklace.
Here is my very first Silpada necklace. I love it and I'll probably be able to dance wearing it. It sure makes me feel special!
Susan & Chris on the porch glider that they brought up from Chico with all our other leftover stuff.
